“If I find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that I was made for another world.” ― C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity
Maybe you, too, have been spiritually hungry and restless. Maybe you, too, have followed the Lord into a wilderness and reached a place that terrified you. Or maybe you want to have your eyes on heaven, but too often find yourself trying to create a heaven-on-earth.
How will we live for the glory of God as we wrestle between our confusion, our sin, faith, and God’s grace?
Over the past 9 years, I’ve moved from the hills of Pennsylvania to the skyscrapers of Manhattan, then to Brooklyn, then China, then back to PA, and finally to Alaska. The Lord is using people (and books!) in each place to teach me about His grace– and how much I need it.
I’ve finally come to a season in which I’m praying for the Lord to saturate my thoughts and my writing with the truth of the gospel. I have a very long way to go, and you are going to see some failures here… but I’m grateful that the Lord is a God of redemption and restoration!
